LOCATION
The Scandic Norra Bantorget Hotel on Wallingatan 15 is a heaven of calm despite its city center location among department stores, restaurants, culture centres and entertainment of all kinds. Stockholm's central stations the city bus terminal and the Arlanda Express train service are within five minutes walking distance. Now with 4 stars it is an excellent hotel with charming and welcoming atmosphere and located in a very central area, without the noise.
ACCOMMODATION
The Scandic Norra Bantorget Hotel has 160 rooms on five floors and on top of Folkets Hus. All the rooms were renovated in 2000 and offer an iron, ironing board, a trouser press and tea and coffee-making facilities. In the winter 2002 we built 27 new business-rooms on top of Folkets Hus. If you’re interested please ask for a Terrace-room and you will have a designed business room with influences from the fifties and the sixties.
The bathrooms are equipped with a shower, hairdryer and extra socket. All the rooms have wooden floors, except the guestrooms, and mini bars, and you can choose between several different film channels. More than half of our rooms are for non-smokers.
DINING The Scandic Norra Bantorget Bar and Dining room is situated on the ground floor next to reception. The restaurant is a quiet, cozy and popular meeting place for those who live and work in the area.
The restaurant serves a large breakfast every morning, a value-for-money lunch buffet Monday to Friday and à la carte menu Tuesday to Saturday. The bar is open every evening, and in the summer there is an open-air restaurant in the courtyard.
MEETING FACILITIES
The Scandic Norra Bantorget Hotel is part of the Stockholm City Conference Center, CCC, and Folkets Hus and Norra Latin are situated on the same block. This means that one of Scandinavia's largest congress and conference centres is directly adjacent to the hotel. The Scandic Norra Bantorget Hotel forms a building complex together with Folkets Hus and you can walk directly from the hotel into the conference halls.
