LOCATION
Clarion Hotel Stockholm is situated on Södermalm in the heart of Stockholm less than 10 minutes from the central station, close to the city centre and is easily reached by underground, bus or taxi.
ACCOMMODATION
The unifying feature of the hotel’s interior - the light background, dark base and accent colours - continues into the guest rooms, where white contrasts with dark wenge wood - a design theme that extends into the bathroom.
There are five main room categories: moderate, standard, superior, deluxe and penthouse suites. Clarion Hotel's 532 rooms, including 10 suites, are equipped to the highest standards and include direct dial telephone, bath/shower, cable and pay television, data port, hair dryer, mini-bar and 24-hour room service. All of the rooms are non-smoking.
FACILITIES
Entering Clarion Hotel Stockholm you'll step right into Waterfall Lounge. With art, people, soft sofas, cosy couches and live music from C&C's lobby bar it's a place for pauses and encounters. Floor 7 is home to the hotel’s leisure centre, including the indoor swimming pool. Comfortable seating occupies a raised teak deck above a sunken pool, opening onto the high expanse of glass. The leisure centre is an oasis suspended above the busy traffic, with panoramic views of the sky and the suburbs.
DINING
Floor 1 contains the breakfast buffet thats includes everything you want in a real hotel breakfast and our chefs gladly whip up your favourite omelette and the à la carte restaurant Gretas Kök where we using only Swedish ingredients we create national cuisine with international influents; classics in a new suit. A glass stairway leads to Floor 2, housing the lounges and the Upstairs Bar - a bar bathed in light, its glass façade overlooking the bridges and the Globe Arena to the south. Like the hotel’s other bar, C & C’s Bar at the street level.
LEISURE
Local shopping centre opposite the hotel, Åhléns department store and Eriksdalsbadet swimming arena next door (adventure bath - 2 outdoor- and 2 indoor swimming pools), walking/jogging tracks along the water.
MEETING FACILITIES
The Clarion Hotel Stockholm boasts superb conference and banqueting facilities. Conference rooms of various sizes are available for anything from 2 to 500 people, and the hotel has the capacity to accommodate 1 000 conference delegates in total.
The largest room seats 500 people theatre style. The room is flexible and perfect for workshops, product launches, banquets, catwalks and other spectacular events. In combination with the other rooms the hotel offers a perfect setting for large events. From the conference floor you have acces to the gardens externally, a number of small, stylized gardens mark the boundaries between different parts of the building.
