LOCATION
The new Clarion Collection Hotel Karlaplan is a four star hotel with 85 rooms. The hotel is situated close to Karlaplan, in the heart of Östermalm, the most fashionable part of Stockholm. A stroll down to Stureplan, the absolute centre of Stockholm, takes less than 15 minutes. Close to the hotel we find the shopping mall Fältöversten. In the vincinity of the hotel there are exclusive boutiques, wellknown antique dealers and the big park Djurgården with the zoo Skansen and the tivoli Gröna Lund. The Royal Castle is also within walking distance.
The house was built in 1914 och and is considered valuable from an architectual view point. The hotel is furnished and designed with a personal touch. Remnants of the old style has been preserved in things like cast iron pieces, floors and marble friezes.
ACCOMMODATION
This eight floor hotel has 85 stylish rooms with a total of 150 beds. The rooms are light and airy with parquette floors, persian carpets, exclusive Jensen beds and Versace textiles. The dominating colour theme is black and white but walls in the colours camel, papaya och plum accentuate the design. All rooms have wireless broadband internet access, cable TV and telephone.
